Casalgrande Padana - since 1960
A strong, independent industrial business. Specialises in the manufacture of full-body porcelain floor tiles, varying in size from 15x15 cm up to 90x90 cm, and even 90x180 cm. Casalgrande Padana not only produces tiles for domestic use but also specialises in tiles for projects, commercial and industrial buildings, and public spaces (heavy-duty tiles). In addition, the company offers a very competitive and comprehensive range of swimming pool tiles, all with the required anti-slip properties, along with fittings. The factory also produces tiles for applications including train and metro stations, specially developed for the blind and visually impaired. Padana also has a wide range of 20 mm outdoor solutions. As an industrial business, Casalgrande Padana not only invests in design and technology but also in sustainability, through BIOS CERAMICS technology. It now also encourages the creativity of international architects and designers through its biennial Grand Prix, renowned around the world. In 2013, Casalgrande Padana increased its production capacity to a considerable 80,000 m2 per day. The factory makes use of the most up-to-date technologies for production. A further increase in production capacity and an expansion in technology are being worked on in 2017.
Ceramica Saloni is one of Spain’s largest tile manufacturers. The company was founded in 1971 and produces both wall and floor tiles. These include glazed and unglazed porcelain tiles and also red-body and the more exclusive white-body tiles. When it comes to wall tiles, this leading Spanish manufacturer is able to produce uncommon sizes, such as 30x90 cm and, in particular, 40x120 cm, again on a white body. Ceramica Saloni strives to contribute to a cleaner environment and therefore complies with the UNE-EN ISO 14021 standard.
Serenissima was founded in 1968 and in 2005 was taken over by the Romani Group, within which it is now the leading brand. With a production capacity of more than 9 million square metres, Serenissima ranks alongside other medium-sized tile manufacturers in Italy. Producing only floor tiles, Serenissima has developed to become a real specialist in them, manufacturing very small sizes as well as tiles in very large dimensions, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The tiles are always based on a porcelain stoneware technology that ranks among the most modern and most advanced in the sector. Serenissima produces both indoor and outdoor tiles (20 mm).
Cercom was founded in 1975 and became part of the Romani Group in 2005. Cercom concentrates on supplying top-quality technical solutions and therefore continually focuses on innovation, service improvement and the development of human resources. The Romani Group also uses the most advanced manufacturing systems in the world for producing wall and floor tiles, with environmental and ecosystem protection playing a key role. The Cercom collection represents a balanced mix of design and aesthetics and meets the highest technical demands. Along with other aspects, this makes Cercom tiles suitable for both projects and use by private individuals. The tile formats vary from 30x30 cm to 60x120 cm. Cercom also offers a comprehensive collection of outdoor tiles (with a thickness of 20 cm).
